![]() Also I would like to know how to launch the rocknes binary I downloaded from zophars domain. My preference definately is for ZSNES because it a hassle free experience but I have no idea how to compile it from source and the only guides I have found don't seem to be current to FC6 or the versions I have tried but if anyone wants to give me a hand with that I would appreciate it. However, before attempting to install it, ensure you have the Ubuntu Universe software repository enabled. I am running ZSNES on another machine under Ubuntu and it works a treat except for the netplay which seems to crash my DSL modem but thats another story. On Ubuntu, you’ll be able to get the Higan emulator up and running using the apt install command down below. Now I have those problems fixed ive come up against others like the system will not remember my joystick settings after configuration (logitech dual action) and I have to keep resetting it to have my ROMS recognised. The other fix I used for the typo in the code was to log in as root, copy snesnx to the desktop rename to osnex9x and paste it back into /usr/bin. In total there are 4 users online :: 3 registered, 0 hidden and 1 guest (based on users active over the past 5 minutes) Most users ever online was 723 on Sun 7:16 pm. The fix for: Error loading skin: fr_Image: could not load image is to select another skin in the preferences. I actually solved both of these problems right after posting so Im sorry for wasting good server space. I have tried the NES emulators on zophars domain but there isa only binaries there that I cant seem to get to launch under FC6 It would be cool to see some more emulators on the repos for FC6. If anyone can help fix this little problem I would appreciate it. No PPAs are available for Ubuntu, and there isn’t any indication that this will change. It pretty much looks like a typo in the code to me but I cant be sure and if it is it is amazing that it has been on the repo like that for 2 weeks. Despite the fact that Ubuntu and the Debian package base in general usually enjoys the most attention from Linux software developers, there isn’t currently a version of Snes9x packaged for these popular distributions. Generally I cannot find a file called osnes9x. The executable file that runs the game is called snes9x not osnex9x as this output suggests. make sure you have the correct snes9x path You have searched for packages that names contain Snes9x in all suites, all sections, and all architectures. usr/bin/osnes9x "/mnt/storage/My Documents/ROMS/SNES ROMS/SuperMARIOWORLD.smc" When I try to launch snes9x express from the freshrpms FC6 repo I get the following output errors.Įrror loading skin: fr_Image: could not load image ![]()
